Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage came to an end this summer, and it might be taking a toll on the former.

The On The Floor singer filed for divorce from the Argo actor after two years of marriage. This is Ben’s second divorce, as his first was from actress Jennifer Garner.

Ben and Garner married in 2005 and divorced in 2018, and they share three children – Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

They seem to get along as on Thanksgiving, Ben was seen with his first wife and their children volunteering and handing out meals to the homeless in Los Angeles, California. But this family moment seemed to annoy J.Lo.

An insider told Heat World: “Jen [Lopez] felt threatened by Jennifer [Garner] for almost all of her marriage – the way Ben would run to her for advice any time they had a fight drove her crazy.”

“Jen had every reason to believe she and Ben were going to be spending a lot of time together over the holidays, because he promised that he’d split his time 50/50 between her and Jennifer Garner,” they continued, “But then when he flaked on their plans and had dinner at Jennifer’s instead, it was humiliating for Jen because she’d told everyone that Ben would be there for dinner.”

However, it appears that there isn’t anything for Jenny from the Block to worry about, as Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018. Lopez also has twins from her previous marriage to Latin singer Marc Anthony.

Ben and J.Lo first started their romance in the early 2000s before breaking up days before their wedding. They both went their separate ways before reuniting in 2021 and marrying in Las Vegas a year later.

The insider added: “All Jen [Lopez] can do is hope that his conscience kicks in and he realizes their blended family should still be a priority. In the meantime she’s making sure she’s out and about looking her best, because she’ll be damned if she’s going to give him, or Jennifer [Garner], the pleasure of seeing her fall apart.”
